YELLOW CAB's efforts to impact our Community in a positive way begins and ends with safety. 

We use a 14 point inspection process for every taxi cab in our fleet every 5000 miles.  Every Taxi Driver must attend a mandatory Safety Class sponsored by The National Safety Council once per year (DDC 6 or DDC 8).  Every new Taxi Driver attends a mandatory Orientation and Safety Class taught by our in-house Safety Manager who is certified by the National Safety Council.  We also hold Certifications with the Safety Council of the Ozarks as a National Training Center.

We also sponsor the

Safe Ride Home Program. 

The Safe Ride Home Program helps local bars and restaurants lower their liability when their guests have a little too much to drink.  We offer participating establishments the ability to give their guests a FREE ride home.  This effort helps keep people from drinking and then driving.  This program is FREE to the participating establishment, FREE to the patron, and a great help to the Community at large.  We Applaud and Thank those establishments for their efforts.  This program has been blessed by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).

Become a Call Taker, Dispatcher, or Mechanic.  Working in the call center requires a stable work history, some computer skills, typing at least 35 words per minute, and 10 key experience.  A history in customer service is preferred.  Our Fleet Mechanic's should have general line experience, A/C certification, and some electrical with a stable work history.
